Print only
The print by itself - no frame, no stretcher bars - ready for a frame you choose, or for your own framer. It's the simplest way to bring the artwork home, and the most affordable.
- On paper
- Museum-grade 310 gsm etching paper (Hahnemühle German Etching or equivalent), giclée with archival pigment inks, printed edge to edge with no border
- On canvas
- 400 gsm artist-grade cotton canvas, durable latex inks, printed edge to edge with no border and shipped rolled - for framing, not for stretching (there's no extra canvas to wrap around bars)
- Sizes
- Standard frame sizes - 5 × 7 up to 30 × 40 in - so an off-the-shelf frame fits
- Arrives
- Small paper prints flat; larger prints and all canvas rolled in a sturdy tube
- Delivery
- Usually 5-9 business days for paper, 4-11 for canvas, free in the US
Standard frame sizes
Every size we print is a standard US frame size - 5 × 7, 8 × 10, 12 × 16, 16 × 20, 18 × 24, 24 × 36 and 30 × 40 in - so a ready-made frame from any frame shop or home store fits the print exactly.
Want a mat? Choose a larger frame and a mat whose window is a little smaller than the print - about ¼ in on each side - so the mat holds the edges.
When it arrives
- Unroll it gently and let it rest flat for a day - under a clean book at the corners - before framing.
- Handle by the edges with clean, dry hands.
- Paper: frame it behind glass or acrylic (UV-filtering is best). Canvas: frame it as it is - it has no border for wrapping around stretcher bars - or store it rolled, image side out.
Prefer it ready to hang?
Paper also comes framed with a mat on some sizes, and canvas comes stretched or framed.
