The Statue of Liberty stands on Ellis Island, staring out into the Atlantic, with the New York skyline standing in the background. This beautiful oil painting celebrates the memory of New York and the promise it has held for the huddled masses yearning to breathe free — a place of human achievement and home to many cultures that have all contributed to creating the greatest city in the world. An enduring greatness that continues into the next century.
Max Lanchak finds inspiration in breath-taking city landscapes. In his technique, clear lines are combined with spontaneous expression. Sunlight and air, mild and warm colors are something everyone could always find in his works, which are done in oil or pastel.
Since 1997, Max Lanchak has been a member of the Russian Artists Union under the patronage of UNESCO. His artistic trips abroad - to the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, USA - inspired him to include the atmosphere of the beautiful architecture and landscapes of European and American cities into his works. After his long trips to New York in 1998-2011, he made many interesting compositions of that city.
Presently, the works by Max Lanchak are in private collections all over the world in the more than 50 countries.
It's a memory....
Great looking picture of Memory.
It looks great in my living room. Colors were perfect for my walls.
Very happy with this painting.
It doesn’t go with my decor as much as I wanted but I loved it so much I didn’t want to send it back.
My child is happy!
I bought this because my son loves the Statue of Liberty. I was pleasantly surprised how well it really turned out. I definitely would recommend it!
