Times Square in vivid watercolors. Countless musical billboards line the buildings such as Les Miserables, Lion King, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Cats, and The Phantom of the Opera. The iconic bright red double-decker tour bus rides down the road along with dozens of packed taxis, as a young woman in a red dress walks down the path.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
It's pretty nice for the price!
NYC city of my dreams! Perfect quality.
Love this painting!! The quality was fantastic. Glad I purchased.
It's meaningful print.
I'm completely captivated by this girl in red in the picture. She looks very impressive and at the same time vulnerable, and very feminine for a huge cruel world..... it catches the eye...
I really like this picture!
Looks great. Thanks.
It was for my living room, and it accompanies many other paintings similar. Looks great. Thanks.
