A Times Square watercolor painting that showcases nighttime in the city and the countless bright, shimmering lights that constantly keep the streets alive and buzzing with energy. Various well-known Broadway show promo posters can be seen lining the sides of the buildings, one of which being Les Miserables.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Times Square - Great choice!
My friend is from New York and he really misses his hometown. We moved to Canada two years ago and for him this picture is like a breath of fresh air. He hung it in our kitchen and looks at this picture with love every day. Thanks!
Beautiful colors and textures.
This print on canvas absolutely AMAZING!!! Looks like a real painting. You can turn it around and see it was in fact a print, actually wonderful print! Love it. The colors are vibrant.
