A watercolor painting of Broadway and 47th Street. Countless colorful billboards fill up the streets, including Cats, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Beauty and the Beast. The roads and sidewalks are packed with police cars, taxis, and busy pedestrians.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Liked everything about it. Hung on dining room wall.
Beautiful... Perfect for my living room!
I expected a little more ... but all things considered, that's pretty good.
I love this colorful and vibrant painting. She reminds me of the 90s and early 2000s lol. It was a very cool time!
The quality is excellent, delivery was earlier.
Great color & bright painting!
I really love this canvas! It's a little smaller than I anticipated lol (oh it's my fault because they have exact measurements) but it's really beautiful in our hall.
