A painting of the Statue of Liberty and the New York Skyline. Some notable landmarks can be seen such as the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Woolworth Building, and the fallen Twin Towers. The red dusk sky casts a warm pinkish glow onto the skyscrapers, and the boats floating on the water.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
I live this little painting. Needed something cute for staging our house. This fit the bill and colors are beautiful. The room looked great.Elaine Breston
A beautiful view that has already sunk into oblivion...
However, I like to have this painting as a keepsake of the good times. Perfect colors.
For me, a simple romantic, this picture is just a great find! I adore this view, this delicate palette of colors and with all my heart I love my beautiful city, which has many romantic corners. Many thanks to the artist for this painting.Andrea Barotti
