A painting of the Statue of Liberty done in watercolors. The Twin Towers, Empire State Building, and Woolworth Building can be seen along the skyline, as well as boats that make their merry ways across the calm, deep-blue water beneath the statue.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
As a gift
I sent it as a gift to my partners in China, with whom we have been cooperating for 25 years. They were impressed by this picture.
I love this piece
I absolutely love this piece. I ordered this painting from metallic paper to add effect and was very happy when I received it in person, seeing what an amazing quality!
So far, I ordered two items from this seller and was very pleased with the quality. Also, I am planning to order several paintings for my office. I'm very glad I found this wonderful site.
We will remember
I work at a school and have ordered this painting for my office. I often have to tell children about the tragedy that happened on 9/11.
In my opinion, such a painting should be in every educational institution.
As advertised nice quality!
Looks exactly like what we expected.
