Rendered in beautiful watercolors, this Midtown New York skyline at dusk looks almost otherworldly. Roustam Nour’s masterpiece is punctuated by easily recognizable New York City icons – the World Trade Center, the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. Midtown New York is gently illuminated by the light that rises up from the busy streets. Beyond the spires, the New York Bay frames the city in the distance.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Love love love! I put it on top of the fireplace, and it looks great.
Nice quality paper and colors are as shown. I placed a white mat next to the image and medium blue/grey mat on top inside a gold metal frame. The result is gorgeous!
Beautiful! Better in the flesh.
We absolutely love this painting. It complements our dining room beautifully. The colors are vibrant and it definitely sets the mood. Very, very happy.
I love this wall art very much.
