The Manhattan skyline in watercolors. This painting beautifully manages to showcase New York’s many prominent landmarks, including the Empire State building and the Brooklyn Bridge. It also pays tribute to the World Trade Center which once stood proudly overlooking the city.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
So, very nice quality paper. Since this print I choose matte and not glossy I found the colors were a little darker than in the illustration. However it still looked nice and crisp when framed.
I love nyart.com!
I really like its vibrant colors and the visual appeal it commands. I hang this painting on the living room and it never fails to gather attention. I'm hoping to get my second artwork piece from this guys soon.
