A sepia watercolor painting of the New York skyline. The skyline includes New York's most notable landmarks such as the Twin Towers, Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, and Woolworth Building. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island make an appearance as well, surrounded by boats sailing on the water.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
