A beautiful, dramatic teal-toned watercolor painting of the New York skyline. Fluffy clouds fill the sky, as rays of sunshine cut through them, shining a light onto the Twin Towers, Empire State Building, and Chrysler Building. The Statue of Liberty stands proudly in the foreground of the artwork, and Ellis Island adds a hint of warm red contrast to the scene.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Ordered this for my living room and it is great quality. The value is excellent for the large canvas.
Excellent piece of art
I'm floored at how wonderful this painting looks. My family and I are in love with it!
Great detail, quality paper. It feels like you are actually in there looking toward the city on a early morning.
Beautiful and eye catching. It's great having a piece of original artwork.
