A perfect bird’s eye view of New York City in the evening. The Twin Towers reach above the buildings into the sky, surrounded by a blue-lilac darkening sky. Far, far in the horizon the Verrazano Bridge and Statue of Liberty stand as tiny figurines. Remnants of sunshine cut through the clouds as the night begins to set upon the beautiful city, lit up by countless streetlights.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Beautiful accent for my guest bedroom.
Nice Wall Art
We all love this painting and the colors look great.
I love NYC
Oh God, how I love my hometown! I travel a lot on the world, but never and nowhere do I feel so good as in New York. I will never betray my city and I will always love.
I love how the colors pop. Very bold and vivid. This is my third Nyart.com painting that I have brought and I haven't been disappointed yet.
Worth every penny and then some!
We were looking for a large painting for the living room wall in our new house and I searched and compared so many different options. I'm so happy with the choice I made, although I'm sure I would have been happy no matter which one I picked! Plus, it's not heavy at all so you can hang it up with regular nails- no hanging equipment required! It's great and perfect!
