A blue watercolor painting of New York. Central Park peeks into the painting in the corner, with the Twin Towers and Empire State Building more visible in the back. The Statue of Liberty and Verrazano Bridge look like minuscule toys as they fade into the horizon.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
I bought this to hang in my living room, which has navy blue and green accents. It goes perfectly. Item is as pictured and arrived in good condition. I am happy. I love to shop sales, so this felt overpriced to what I'd LIKE to pay....but I paid it because I wanted it. Ha.
Amazing painting!!! I absolutely love it!
Very beautiful and bright art work!
I love this painting. The image is beautiful and the color is so vibrant. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.
It looks great.
This painting is just perfect. I ordered big size to fit across the wall and includes all my favorite tones.
I presented this painting to my colleague and friend. He was delighted with this gift!
Love this painting.
Great painting! The colors are brighter and more saturated than the picture.
I got it for my mom for her birthday and I think she’ll love it. It is a great sized painting for a centerpiece of the room.
