A watercolor painting of the light tribute to the fallen Twin Towers. The New York skyline is in full view with the Empire State Building and Woolworth Building. The Statue of Liberty draws the attention, glowing a soft green, and towering above the rest of the skyscrapers in the background.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Worked for me
It actually looks better in person.
Good quality for a good price.
High-quality print (not a simple poster!)
This is a high-quality print (not a poster!) of the New York City skyline. It's a stark, yet hopeful, image with the two lights beaming up from out of nowhere as a tribute to the Twin Towers. This is a gift for my son, he is a student at Columbia University, but any Manhattan aficionado will also want to have this. Great quality!
This is the memory of my son.....
First of all, I want to highlight the muted colors of this painting, I like that the most. The colors of the painting are calm and delicate. The quality of the canvas is high and impressive.
Yes, it is very difficult to live after the death of our son, but he has three children left and my wife and I live for them.
Thanks for the great picture.
I can never forget that fateful day. 911 I lost everything...
Thanks for this picture. The quality is very good.
