New York’s iconic, brightly-glowing Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in the snowy winter. The golden Prometheus statue stands under the tree, in between the beautiful Christmas Angels which hold their trumpets up to the sky with grace. American flags are peppered throughout the background of the scene.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
