The Brooklyn Bridge at the focus of the scene, with the East River flowing just beneath it makes for a striking artwork. The painting has a warm feel to it; the New York Downtown skyline is perfectly visible in the horizon, with the Twin Towers and Woolworth Building peeking above the other skyscrapers.
Roustam Nour lives and works in New York City — the place that inspires his lively and lifelike watercolor and oil paintings. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the US in 1991. Since then, his name has become synonymous with his home city, with write ups in the New York Times and the German magazine Stern celebrating his achievements in capturing NYC on the canvas.
Nour graduated from the College of Art in Tatarstan and mastered his professional skills at Moscow State University’s Technical Design department. His work has appeared in multiple national and international exhibitions including Art Expo New York.
Beautiful and great quality!
It was definitely worth the splurge for the great quality. Guys, I am a fairly frequent buyer of artworks and have never met such an excellent quality before. Well ok, a few times I came across good quality, but the price was just crazy! And this is exactly the case when the price is justified, believe me a connoisseur. Will highly recommend to everyone!
Design and colours
I bought this painting as a souvenir of my trip to NYC (I'm from Paris). It's a beautiful canvas, I love the colors and the paints are really great.
I have ordered several paintings on this site. This is perfect for my apartment in NY. I am very satisfied with the quality.
